I consider myself a visual poet, creating images that evoke thought and resonate with the past and present moment.
My work aims to illustrate how the present is a child of the past and a parent to the future.
Often, the memory and lessons of our past is overshadowed by the struggles of the present. This phenomenon occurs within our families and in our collective history.
To be an artist, is to be in observer to all these things and a chronicler of the moments that our lives witness.
I would hope, in someway, that my work can illuminate, and shine a light in those who partake in it.
